Erik Tysse
Erik Tysse (born 4 December 1980 in Bergen) is a Norwegian race walker. He has competed at four editions of the World Championships in Athletics and represented Norway at the 2008 Summer Olympics and at the 2012 Summer Olympics. He began his international career at the 1998 World Junior Championships in Athletics, and finishing in 17th place at his first major event – the 2002 European Athletics Championships. He finished ninth in the men's 20 km race at the 2006 IAAF World Race Walking Cup, but set a Norwegian record of 1:20:34 in the process. He was one of the top performers on the circuit in 2007 and finished second in the rankings in the IAAF World Race Walking Challenge that year. Tysse improved upon his past performance, finishing in sixth place at the 2008 IAAF World Race Walking Cup, and he also improved his national mark to 1:19:11. 20 Kilometres Race Walk
The 20 kilometre race walk is an Olympic Games, Olympic athletics (sport), athletics event that is competed by both men and women. The racewalking event is competed as a road race. Athletes must always keep in contact with the ground and the supporting leg must remain straight until the raised leg passes it. World records The men's list of world records in athletics, world record for the 20 km race walk is held by Yusuke Suzuki (racewalker), Yusuke Suzuki, who walked 1:16:36 at the Asian Race Walking Championships in his home town of Nomi, Ishikawa, Nomi, Japan. Suzuki's new World Record came exactly one week after Yohann Diniz's mark who walked a then record time of 1:17:02 in Arles at the 2015 French championships. 2010 European Athletics Championships
The 2010 European Athletics Championships were the 20th edition of the European Athletics Championships, organised under the supervision of the European Athletic Association. They were held at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain from 27 July to 1 August 2010. Barcelona was the first Spanish city to host the European Championships. Eisenhüttenstadt (literally "ironworks city" in German; , dsb, Pśibrjog) is a town in the Oder-Spree district of the state of Brandenburg, Germany, on the border with Poland. East Germany founded the city in 1950. It was known as Stalinstadt (''Stalinměsto'') between 1953 and 1961. Dudince (before 1927 ''Ďudince'', hu, Gyűgy, rarely german: Dudintze) is a spa town in southern Slovakia. It is the smallest town in Slovakia with only a population of around 1,400.
