Eric Miller (soccer)
Eric Miller (born January 15, 1993) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a defender for Portland Timbers in Major League Soccer. Club career Early career Born in Jacksonville, Florida and raised in Woodbury, Minnesota, Miller started playing soccer for the Bangu Tsunami and Minnesota Thunder Academy. In 2011 Miller won the Gatorade Player of the Year award and the Mr. Soccer Award for the state of Minnesota after scoring 16 goals and gaining 15 assists in his final year at Woodbury High School. He then went to Creighton University where he played for the Creighton Bluejays. Miller also played for two seasons with the Portland Timbers U23s in the USL PDL. Montreal Impact Miller was drafted by the Montreal Impact of Major League Soccer in the 2014 MLS SuperDraft with the fifth pick in the first round. The Colorado Rapids are an American professional soccer club based in the Denver metropolitan area. The Rapids compete in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member of the Western Conference. Founded in 1995, as part of the Anschutz Corporation, later to be a founding sports franchise of the global sports & entertainment juggernaut AEG, the club is a founding member of MLS, playing their first season in 1996. The Iceland national football team (in ) represents Iceland in men's international football. The team is controlled by the Football Association of Iceland, and have been a FIFA member since 1947 and an UEFA member since 1957. United States Men's National Soccer Team
The United States men's national soccer team (USMNT) represents the United States in men's international soccer competitions. The team is controlled by the United States Soccer Federation and is a member of FIFA and CONCACAF. The U.S. team has appeared in eleven FIFA World Cups, including the first in 1930, where they reached the semi-finals to finish third, the best result ever by a team from outside UEFA and CONMEBOL. 2019 MLS Re-Entry Draft
The 2019 MLS Re-Entry Draft took place on November 26, 2019 (Stage 1) and December 3, 2019 (Stage 2). All 26 Major League Soccer clubs were eligible to participate. The priority order for the MLS Re-Entry Draft was reverse order of finish in 2019, taking into account playoff performance. The 2020 expansion teams, Nashville SC and Inter Miami CF, received selections #25 and #26, respectively. Sam Nicholson
Sam Alastair Nicholson (born 20 January 1995) is a Scottish footballer who plays as a left winger or left midfielder for Colorado Rapids in Major League Soccer. Career Heart of Midlothian Nicholson attended Penicuik High School in Midlothian and grew up supporting Heart of Midlothian. The 2018 MLS SuperDraft was the nineteenth SuperDraft conducted by Major League Soccer. As customary, the SuperDraft was held in conjunction with the annual United Soccer Coaches convention. The 2018 UCS was held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania between January 17–21, 2018. Rounds one and two of the SuperDraft were held on January 19, 2018. USL League Two (USL2), formerly the Premier Development League (PDL), is a semi-professional developmental soccer league sponsored by United Soccer Leagues in the United States and Canada, forming part of the United States soccer league system. The Creighton Bluejays, or Jays, are the athletic teams that represent Creighton University, a Jesuit/Catholic University in Omaha, Nebraska, United States.
