2014 MLS SuperDraft
The 2014 MLS SuperDraft was the fifteenth MLS SuperDraft, SuperDraft presented by Major League Soccer. The first two rounds of the four round draft took place on January 16, 2014, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at the Philadelphia Convention Center. Rounds three and four took place on January 21, 2014, via conference call. Steve Neumann
Stephen Neumann (born October 2, 1991) is a former American soccer player. Steve Neumann was selected 4th overall in the 2014 MLS draft and played 3 seasons for the New England Revolution making 36 appearances. Career College and Amateur Neumann played four years of college soccer at Georgetown University between 2010 and 2013. He ended his Georgetown career with 41 goals and 34 assists and was twice an NSCAA Second Team All American. Michael Parkhurst
Michael Finlay Parkhurst (born January 24, 1984) is an American former soccer player who played as a defender. The 2005 MLS Rookie of the Year and 2007 MLS Defender of the Year Award, Parkhurst was capable of playing both as a center back and right back. He played for the United States national team, including being a member of three CONCACAF Gold Cup squads and participating in the 2008 Summer Olympics. Youth and college Born in Providence, Rhode Island, Parkhurst attended the Bradenton Soccer Academy in Florida. The Columbus Crew, formerly known as Columbus Crew SC, is an American professional soccer club based in Columbus, Ohio. Christian Dean (born March 14, 1993) is an American soccer player who currently plays as a center back for Forward Madison FC in USL League One. Career Youth Dean began his youth soccer career at the youth teams of Palo Alto Football Club, Santa Clara Sporting FC and U.S. Soccer Development Academy club De Anza Force. He was also selected into the National Academy Select 93 teams in 2009 and 2010 for the West and won the 2010 New York Red Bulls National High School Cup. Eric Hassli
Eric Hassli (born 3 May 1981) is a French former professional footballer who played as a forward. Career Early career Hassli began his career at his hometown club Sarreguemines FC. In 2000 Hassli moved west to play for FC Metz. In 2002, he moved on loan to England to play for Southampton. He scored two goals in eight matches for Southampton's reserve side but made no appearances for their first team. Southampton decided not to sign Eric Hassli permanently and so he returned to Metz. Vancouver Whitecaps Football Club is a Canadian professional soccer team based in Vancouver. They compete in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member club of the league's Western Conference.
