Eric Bird
Eric Bird (born April 8, 1993) is an American soccer player who currently plays for FC Tulsa in the USL Championship. Career Amateur Bird was born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He attended Frank W Cox High School, who he helped lead to state titles in 2009 and 2010. His best individual season was 2011, where he scored 28 goals and picked up 22 assists in just 24 games and was named as the Virginia High School State Player of the Year. Bird played four years of college soccer at the University of Virginia between 2011 and 2014. During his freshman season, he started 8 of the first 9 games before suffering a season ending knee injury. The following season, Bird recovered fully from the injury and started every game of the season. Rochester New York FC, formerly known as the Rochester Rhinos, are an American professional soccer team based in Rochester, New York, United States. 2016 USL Season
The 2016 USL season was the sixth season of the United Soccer League and the twenty-second season of USSF sanctioned Division III play organized by the United Soccer Leagues. On August 6, 2015, the league announced that the season would consist of 30 games rather than 28 games played from 2013–2015. This was the first increase in the number of games since the league went from 24 games per season in 2012 to 28 games in 2013. The league expanded from 24 to 29 teams in 2016. Six franchises were officially announced by the league: Swope Park Rangers, Orlando City B, Rio Grande Valley FC, FC Cincinnati, Bethlehem Steel FC, and San Antonio FC. The Austin Aztex were on hiatus for the 2016 season, due to stadium availability issues, but planned to return in 2017 pending construction of a new, soccer-specific stadium. Morgan Paige Gautrat (; born February 26, 1993) is an American soccer player who most recently played for the Kansas City Current of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL), the highest division of women's professional soccer in the United States, and the United States women's national soccer team.
