Abby May Erceg (born 20 November 1989) is a professional New Zealand footballer who plays as a defender. She is the captain of the North Carolina Courage in the National Women's Soccer League. She has previously played for Chicago Red Stars in the NWSL, Jena in the German Bundesliga, FC Saitama in the Japanese Nadashiko League and Adelaide United in the Australian W-League. Michael Anthony Erceg (26 March 1956 – 4 November 2005) was an Auckland, New Zealand businessman who founded Independent Liquor. Independent Liquor was New Zealand’s largest independently owned liquor distributor, known for its Ready to Drink (RTD) brands such as KGB, Woodstock and Vodka Cruisers. At the time of his death in 2005, Erceg as one of the New Zealand's wealthiest individuals. Early life Erceg was born in West Auckland in to a Croatian winemaking family who operated Pacific vineyard in Te Atatū South. He attended Kelston Boys High School. Erceg was a top pupil, who skipped sixth form and was awarded Dux of Kelston Boys High School in 1972. Tomislav Erceg (born 22 October 1971) is a Croatian former professional footballer who played as a forward. He made four appearances for the Croatia national team, scoring one goal. Club career Erceg started his career at HNK Šibenik in 1990, moving to HNK Hajduk Split after his first season with the club. Filip Erceg (born 1979) is a Croatian writer, journalist and political scientist. Erceg was born in Slavonski Brod, but lived his childhood in Bjelovar. He graduated in politology at the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Zagreb. As a student, he co-edited ''Hrvatska ljevica'' and was a member of the Central Committee of the Socialist Labour Party (and later also the Vice-President of the party). He was a member of the editorial board of the philosophical journal '' 11. teza'' ("Thesis Eleven") and is on the executive committee of August Cesarec Foundation. Percy Erceg
Charles Percy Erceg (28 November 1928 – 26 May 2019) was a New Zealand rugby union player. A wing three-quarter, Erceg represented North Auckland and at a provincial level, and was a member of the New Zealand national side, the All Blacks, from 1951 to 1952. He played nine matches for the All Blacks including four internationals. Affiliating to Ngāti Kurī, Erceg represented New Zealand Māori from 1950 to 1952, and in 1951 he was awarded the Tom French Cup as the Māori player of the year. He later served as a national Māori selector from 1972 to 1983, was the manager of the New Zealand Māori side that toured Australia and the Pacific Islands in 1979 and coach of the 1982 team that toured Wales.
