Eoin Dillon
Eoin Dillon (born 1 June 1987) is an Irish hurler who plays for Cork Intermediate Championship club Milford. He played for the Cork senior hurling team for three years, during which time he usually lined out as a full-back. Dillon began his hurling career at club level with Milford, while his early prowess also saw him selected for the Cork Institute of Technology in the Fitzgibbon Cup and the Avondhu divisional team. At inter-county level, Dillon was part of the Cork minor team that won back-to-back Munster Championships in 2004 and 2005 before later winning a Munster Championship with the under-21 team in 2007. He was at midfield for the Cork intermediate All-Ireland Championship-winning team in 2009. Dillon joined the Cork senior team in 2010. From his debut he made a number of National League appearances but never lined out in the Championship. He left the panel in 2012. Milford GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association based in the village of Milford, County Cork, Ireland. The club participates in competitions organized by Cork GAA county board and the Avondhu divisional board. The club fields hurling and camogie teams, and Gaelic football under the name Deel Rovers. Munster Under-21 Hurling Championship
The Munster GAA Hurling Under-20 Championship, known simply as the Munster Under-20 Championship, is an annual inter-county hurling competition organised by the Munster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). It is the highest inter-county hurling competition for male players between the ages of 17 and 20 in the province of Munster. The championship was contested as the Munster Under-21 Championship between 1964 and 2018 before changing to an under-20 age category from 2019. It is sponsored by Bord Gáis Energy. The final, currently held in July, serves as the culmination of a series of games played during a three-week period, and the results determine which team receives the J. J. Munster Intermediate Hurling Championship
The Munster Hurling Intermediate Championship is an annual hurling competition organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association since 1961 for the strong hurling teams in the province of Munster in Ireland. In some cases the teams consist of players who are not on the senior squads for their county (thus in effect, they are a second team), or in others of players who are from junior or intermediate clubs. The competition was established to prevent the stronger counties from dominating the Munster Junior Hurling Championship. The series of games are played during the summer months with the Munster final currently being played in July. The prize for the winning team is the Sweet Afton Cup. National Hurling League
The National Hurling League is an annual Inter county, inter-county hurling competition featuring teams from Ireland and England. Founded in 1925 by the Gaelic Athletic Association, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation within the league system. The league has 35 teams divided into six divisions, with either five or six teams in each division. Promotion and relegation between these divisions is a central feature of the league. Although primarily a competition for Irish teams, teams from England – currently Lancashire GAA, Lancashire, London GAA, London and Warwickshire GAA, Warwickshire – also take part, while in the past New York GAA, New York also fielded a team for the latter stages of the league.
