Ennahar TV
Ennahar TV ( ar, تلفزيون النهار) is an Arabic language satellite television channel broadcasting from Bir Mourad Rais. Ennahar TV was set up by Groupe Ennahar and a number of Arab intellectuals from Algeria and the Arab World. History Ennahar TV started broadcasting in test mode on 6 March 2012 satellite (Nilesat), since the capital jordanaise Amman. It opened its programming by broadcasting the first news by the duo Riyadh Benamar and Nour El Yakin Meghriche. In April 2013, the Ministry of Communication confirmed the granting of approval to Ennahar TV, next to Echourouk TV and El Djazairia. This administrative authorization is provisional, valid until 31 December 2013. On 5 July 2013, Ennahar Documentaries, a sister channel of Ennahar TV, was launched on Nilesat. 576i is a standard-definition television, standard-definition digital video mode, originally used for digitizing analog television in most countries of the world where the utility frequency for electric power distribution is 50 Hz. Because of its close association with the legacy color encoding systems, it is often referred to as PAL, PAL/SECAM or SECAM when compared to its 60 Hz (typically, see PAL-M) NTSC-colour-encoded counterpart, 480i. El Djazairia One ( ar, الجزائرية وان) formerly El Djazairia Tv ( – ) ( ar, الجزائرية "The Algerian") was an Arabic language satellite television channel broadcasting from Hydra, Algeria. El Djazairia was set up by Yousef Qasim with a number of Arab intellectuals from Algeria and the Arab World. On 23 August 2021, The Ministry of Communication and the Audiovisual Regulatory Authority (ARAV) announced in a joint statement, the "immediate and definitive" closure of the channel "El Djazairia One" for reasons related to "non-compliance requirements of public order" and others in connection with legal proceedings against the founders and managers of this channel. Television services in the North African nation of Algeria commenced in 1956, when the country was a department of France, under French broadcaster RTF. Shortly after independence, both television and radio were taken over by Algerian Radio and Television (''Radiodiffusion-Télévision Algérienne''; RTA). Since then, television began to expand throughout Algeria, with more than 53,000 television sets in use in the country as of 1963, a year after independence. Louisa Hanoune ( ar, لويزة حنون; born 7 April 1954) is the head of Workers' Party (Algeria), Algeria's Workers' Party (Parti des Travailleurs, PT). In 2004, she became the first woman to run for President of Algeria. Hanoune was imprisoned by the government several times prior to the Algeria#Algerian political events, legalization of political parties in 1988.
