English Women's Cricket Team In India In 2018–19
The England women's cricket team played the India women's cricket team in February and March 2019. The tour consisted of three Women's One Day Internationals (WODIs), which formed part of the 2017–20 ICC Women's Championship, and three Women's Twenty20 International (WT20) matches. India Women won the WODI series 2–1. The second WT20I match of the series was the 600th Women's Twenty20 International match to be played. England Women won the WT20I series 3–0. Squads Harmanpreet Kaur was ruled out of India's WODI squad due to injury and was replaced by Harleen Deol. Sophie Ecclestone was ruled out of England's WT20I squad, after suffering a broken hand during the WODI series. Alex Hartley was named as Ecclestone's replacement in England's WT20I squad. Mithali Raj
Mithali Dorai Raj (born 3 December 1982) is an Indian cricketer and a former captain of the India women's national cricket team from 2004 to 2022. Mithali is the highest run-scorer in women's international cricket and is considered one of the greatest cricketers of all time. Mithali holds numerous records in international cricket. She is the only female cricketer to surpass the 7,000-run mark in Women's One Day International matches. She is the first player to score seven consecutive 50s in ODIs. She also holds the record for most half-centuries in WODIs. Taniya Bhatia
Taniya Bhatia (born 28 November 1997) is an Indian cricketer. She is primarily a wicket-keeper. She plays for Punjab and India. She is currently trained under coach RP Singh. The International Cricket Council (ICC) named Bhatia as one of the five breakout stars in women's cricket in 2018. Early life She was born to Sapna and Sanjay Bhatia in Chandigarh. Her father works in Central Bank of India and had played cricket at the all India university level. She has an elder sister Sanjana and younger brother Sehaj. Kathryn Laura Cross (born 3 October 1991) is an English international cricketer. She also co-hosts a podcast with Alex Hartley named "No Balls: The Cricket Podcast". Poonam Yadav (born 24 August 1991) is an Indian cricketer who plays for the national women's cricket team as a leg-spin bowler. Deepti Bhagwan Sharma (born 24 August 1997) is an Indian cricketer who plays for Bengal, Birmingham Phoenix and India.
