Ilfracombe
Ilfracombe ( ) is a seaside resort and civil parish on the North Devon coast, England, with a small harbour surrounded by cliffs. The parish stretches along the coast from the 'Coastguard Cottages' in Hele Bay toward the east and along the Torrs to Lee Bay toward the west. Mark McGeeney (born 28 June 1972) is an English professional darts player from Coventry, Warwickshire. He currently plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Career BDO In August 2010, McGeeney won the Weoley Castle Open, beating Kevin Taylor in the final. In September 2014, he won the England Classic; he beat Sam Hewson in the quarter-final before beating Wesley Harms in the final. In April 2015, McGeeney won the Lincolnshire Open by beating Joshua Richardson in the Final. In September 2015, he won the British Open beating Scott Waites in the final. Deta Hedman
Deta Hedman (born 14 November 1959) is an English darts player who plays in World Darts Federation (WDF) events. Biography Hedman was born in Jamaica in 1959. Her parents emigrated to the United Kingdom in the early 1960s, leaving Hedman and her siblings in the care of relatives in Jamaica. She spent her childhood with her aunt in Castleton in a shack without running water or electricity, going to school from Monday to Thursday and working on the farm on Fridays. Her parents eventually settled in Witham, Essex and over time, brought their children to the UK, with Hedman joining them in January 1973. She started playing darts with her older brother after babysitting for him and then at the local pub in Witham and further afield in Essex. When she was 25, she joined a super league. She was selected for the county, and in 1987 she began playing in British Darts Organisation events. Trina Gulliver
Catrina Elizabeth Gulliver (born 30 November 1969) is an English professional darts player. She is the 10-time Women's World Professional Darts Champion of the British Darts Organisation (BDO). Her nickname is Golden Girl and in 2003, she was named as the BBC Midlands Sports Personality of the Year. Early life The daughter of publicans, Gulliver was born in Warneford Hospital in Leamington Spa, and was brought up in the small town of Southam in Warwickshire. She trained as a carpenter and joiner, and later taught carpentry and joinery at Mid-Warwickshire College, Leamington Spa. Jim Williams (born 27 July 1984) is a Welsh professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Career Williams first ever rose to prominence in October 2012 at the Winmau World Masters in Hull. There he beat four players in the preliminary rounds to reach the main stage, most notably defeating reigning Lakeside World Champion Christian Kist 3–2 in his final match. Scott Baker (darts Player)
Scott Baker (born 31 March 1986) is an England, English darts player currently playing in Professional Darts Corporation events. Career In 2017, Baker won the Lincolnshire Open and Welsh Masters. He qualified for the 2018 BDO World Darts Championship as the 23rd ranked player in the BDO , but he lost 3–2 to Andy Baetens in the first round. The following year, he also qualified for the tournament and won his first game 3–0 against Ross Montgomery, before a stunning comeback against reigning champion Glen Durrant fell just short in the second round. Baker opted to enter PDC UK Q-School in January 2019 with the BDO restrictions having been lifted. Following a run to the last 16 on the first day, Baker beat Dan Lauby Jr 5–1 in the final on day two to seal a two-year PDC Tour Card. Matthew Francis Dean Reynolds (born 21 July 1992) is a Welsh former professional darts player. Career Reynolds' first Development Tour title came in 2014 by defeating Max Hopp 4–2. He also won the 16th event by edging past Josh Payne 4–3. Reynolds beat Ryan de Vreede 5–4 to claim the 2015 French Open title. He also took another Development Tour event with a 4–2 victory over Mike de Decker. In 2016, Reynolds enjoyed a breakthrough year. He qualified for the 2016 BDO World Championship and lost 3–0 to Glen Durrant. At the BDO World Trophy, he defeated Dave Cameron, Martin Adams and Danny Noppert before losing 11–9 to Peter Machin in the semi-finals.
