''Engamma Sapatham'' () is a 1974 Indian Tamil-language film, directed by S. P. Muthuraman and produced by S. Baskar. The film stars R. Muthuraman, Sivakumar, Jayachitra and Vidhubala. It was released on 4 October 1974. The film was remade in Telugu as ''Ammayila Sapatham'' (1975), in Kannada as ''Vasantha Lakshmi'' (1978) and subsequently in Tamil as ''Vanaja Girija'' (1994). Panchu Arunachalam
Panchanathan Arunachalam (22 March 1941 – 9 August 2016) was an Indian writer, director, producer and lyricist who worked in Tamil cinema. He was mentored by poet Kannadasan who was his uncle. He also worked as a lyricist in the Tamil cinema industry. He started producing films under his production banner named P. A. Arts. His son Subbu Panchu Arunachalam is an actor and dubbing artist in the Tamil film industry. Career In 2004, Panchu Arunachalam opted to return to work as a director and planned a film titled ''Ganesha'' with Cheran in the lead role. However, the film eventually did not materialise. Senthamarai was an Indian actor who acted in Tamil cinema and theatre. Career Senthamarai was born on 13 April 1935 at Kancheepuram. His family included his father Thiruvenkadam, his mother Vedammal, and brother Kamalakannan. Thiruvenkadam died when Senthamarai was seven years old. Senthamarai acted many stage plays along with Sivaji Ganesan and M. G. Sukumari Amma (6 October 1940 – 26 March 2013) was an Indian actress best known for her works in Malayalam and Tamil films. In a career spanning more than five decades, She has appeared in more than 2500 films predominantly in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, along with few Hindi and one each in Sinhala, French, Bengali, Tulu, English and Kannada films.
