Endless Rooms
''Endless Rooms'' is the third studio album by Australian indie rock band Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever. It was released on 6 May 2022 under Sub Pop. Background and recording Much of the album was initially written while the band was in quarantine during the COVID-19 pandemic in Australia and its associated lockdowns, which served as base for writing the record. Writing also occurred during the release of the 2020 album, ''Sideways to New Italy'', which was released during the height of the pandemic. In an interview with ''Stereogum'', lead singer Tom Russo said that "despite being so close to each other, we couldn’t see each other or get together and practice. As a result, the songs on ''Endless Rooms'' are ones that follow a more logical structure, because they haven’t had their limbs ripped off them and stuck back on other songs." Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, also sometimes known as Rolling Blackouts C.F., is an Australian indie rock band, formed in Melbourne in 2013. The band consists of three lead vocalists and guitarists — Fran Keaney, Tom Russo, and Joe White — alongside bassist Joe Russo and drummer Marcel Tussie. Rising to prominence following the release of their second EP, ''The French Press'', in 2017, the band has released three studio albums: '' Hope Downs'' (2018), '' Sideways to New Italy'' (2020) and '' Endless Rooms'' (2022). Scott Horscroft (born 27 October 1977) is an Australian music producer/sound engineer, the owner of The Grove Studios and the former General Manager of A&R for EMI Music Australia. Career In 1999 Horscroft completed a Bachelor's Degree of Fine Arts with Honours, studying Sculpture Installation and Performance Art and Electronic Arts, at Sydney College of the Arts. In 2003, Horscroft released the experimental début album, ''8 Guitars''. As a producer and engineer, Horscroft started out in the Surry Hills-based studio Big Jesus Burger (BJB) from 2003 to 2012. Stella Donnelly (born 10 April 1992) is a Welsh-Australian indie rock singer-songwriter and guitarist.
