Ena Nystrøm
Ena Marie Eristland Nystrøm (born 28 April 2000) is a Norwegian ice hockey goaltender and member of the Norwegian national ice hockey team, currently playing with the Mercyhurst Lakers women's ice hockey program in the College Hockey America (CHA) conference of the NCAA Division I. Playing career Beginning in 2013, Nystrøm played with teams of the Stavanger Oilers ice hockey club in her home town of Stavanger, Norway. In 2018, she left Norway to move to Canada, where she spent a year playing at the Ontario Hockey Academy in Cornwall, Ontario. In 2019, she began her college ice hockey career with the RPI Engineers women's ice hockey program in the ECAC Hockey conference of the NCAA Division I. She would finish the season with a respectable .915 save percentage but the team struggled in front of her and she amassed a 0-21-1 record. She was named ECAC Goaltender of the Week in October 2019. 2018 IIHF World Women's U18 Championship
The 2018 IIHF Women's U18 World Championship was the 11th Women's U18 World Championship in ice hockey. It was played at the Ice Palace in Dmitrov, Russia from 6 to 13 January 2018. The USA won for the seventh time, for the first time defeating someone other than Canada in the gold medal game. Sweden took silver, while Canada took bronze beating host Russia. The Russians beat Canada in the preliminary round, marking another first. The Division I Group A tournament was played in Budapest, Hungary, from 7 to 13 April 2019, and the Division I Group B tournament was played in Beijing, China, from 6 to 12 April 2019. The Division I Group A tournament was played in Vaujany, France, and the Division I Group B tournament was played in Asiago, Italy, both from 8 to 14 April 2018. International Ice Hockey Federation
The International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF; french: Fédération internationale de hockey sur glace; german: Internationale Eishockey-Föderation) is a worldwide governing body for ice hockey. It is based in Zurich, Switzerland, and has 83 member countries. The IIHF maintains the IIHF World Ranking based on international ice hockey tournaments. Rules of play for IIHF events differ from hockey in North America and the rules of the National Hockey League (NHL). Decisions of the IIHF can be appealed through the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne, Switzerland. The IIHF maintains its own hall of fame for international ice hockey. The 2016 Winter Youth Olympics ( no, Olympiske vinterleker for ungdom 2016; nn, Olympiske vinterleikane for ungdom 2016), officially known as the II Winter Youth Olympic Games, took place in and around Lillehammer, Norway, between 12 February and 21 February 2016. They were the fourth Youth Olympic Games and the second winter edition. Lillehammer was awarded the games on 7 December 2011 as the only candidate.
