Emran Barakzai
Emran Barakzai (born 29 November 1994) is an Afghanistan, Afghan-Netherlands, Dutch association football, football player who plays for DVVA. Club career Barakzai joined the Ajax Youth Academy in 2007, after having been scouted from partner club Almere City FC, FC Omniworld from nearby Almere. Moving up the ranks, Barakzai joined the reserves team Jong Ajax during the 2013/14 season. Sidelined by an injury for a majority of the season, he struggled to find his place back in the team under head coach Alfons Groenendijk, Barakzai made his professional debut in an Eerste Divisie match against FC Volendam on 11 April 2014. The North Holland derby match between the two sides, saw Barakzai come on in the 84'-minute for Sheraldo Becker. The match ended in a 1–0 loss for the reserves team. Go Ahead Eagles () are a Dutch professional football club from the city of Deventer. They play in the Eredivisie, the top tier of Dutch football, having achieved promotion from the second tier Eerste Divisie in the 2020-21 season. Johan Cruijff Shield
The Johan Cruyff Shield (, ) is a football trophy in the Netherlands named after Dutch footballer Johan Cruyff, also often referred to as the Dutch Super Cup. The winner is decided in one match only, played by the winner of the national football league, Eredivisie, and the winner of the national KNVB Cup. In the event of a team winning both the Eredivisie and the KNVB Cup, the Johan Cruyff Shield will be contested between that team and the runner up in the national league. 2015–16 Topklasse
The 2015–16 Topklasse season was the sixth and last edition of the Dutch third tier since its inauguration in the current form in 2010. A total 32 teams participated in the league: 25 from the 2014–15 Topklasse, and the remaining seven from the 2014–15 Hoofdklasse. As usual, the competition was divided into two leagues: "Saturday" and "Sunday", who differed by the day their games were usually played. For this season only, the first 7 teams from the Saturday and Sunday divisions earned promotion to constitute a new, semi-professional third-division Tweede Divisie. This change in the league system was approved in a KNVB assembly in December 2014. Thus, the Topklasse and leagues below it decremented by one level, and furthermore, promotion and relegation between the Tweede Divisie and the Topklasse became effective from next season. 2013–14 Eerste Divisie
The 2013–14 Eerste Divisie, known as Jupiler League for sponsorship reasons, was the fifty-eight season of Eerste Divisie since its establishment in 1955. It began on 2 August 2013 with the first matches of the season and ended on 26 May 2014 with the return of the finals of the promotion/relegation play-offs, also involving the 16th- and 17th-placed teams from the 2013–14 Eredivisie. Teams A total of 20 teams took part in the league. SC Cambuur were promoted from the Eerste Divisie as 2012–13 champions and replaced by bottom-placed Eredivisie Willem II, whereas Go Ahead Eagles won a top flight place in the ''nacompetitie'', replacing VVV-Venlo, who were eliminated from the post-season playoff and therefore relegated to Eerste Divisie for this season. The KNVB Beker (; en, KNVB Cup), branded as the TOTO KNVB Beker for sponsorship reasons, is a competition in the Netherlands organized by the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB) since 1898. The Derde Divisie (; en, Third Division), formerly known as Topklasse (; en, Top Class), is the fourth tier of football in the Netherlands, which had its inaugural season as a third tier in 2010–11 and as a fourth tier in 2016–17.
