Empire Interactive
Empire Interactive was a British video game developer and Video game publisher, publisher based in London. Founded in 1987 by Ian Higgins and Simon Jeffrey, it was acquired by Silverstar Holdings in 2006 and went out of business in 2009. History Empire Interactive was established by Ian Higgins (chief executive officer) and Simon Jeffrey (managing director) in 1987. In November 2000, the company acquired development studio Razorworks. As well as full priced titles, Empire also had a budget range of titles, Xplosiv, for PC and PS2. Initially launched for PC in January 2000, Xplosiv published titles in Europe from third parties such as Sega and Microsoft. Later, in 2003 Empire launched titles for PS2. In March 2002 Empire acquired music creation software eJay. Silverstar Holdings, a U.S. public company listed on NASDAQ, offered to acquired Empire Interactive in late October 2006. ''Campaign II'' is an action strategy 3D wargame released by Empire Interactive in 1993. It is the sequel to ''Campaign''. Plot The game is similar to its predecessor but features campaigns from the postwar era, including Korea, Six-Day War, Yom Kippur, Vietnam, Iran–Iraq and the Gulf. Gameplay The player takes command of an armoured force in a military campaign. Campaign (video Game)
''Campaign'' is a strategy war game developed and published by Empire Interactive. It was released in 1992 for MS-DOS and in 1993 for the Amiga and Atari ST. The game is set in World War II. The player may play out scenarios like the Battle of the Bulge and D-Day. Apart from the strategic map, a battle mode will be opened if two hostile forces venture too near each other. The military units are rendered well in this game, and it includes a 170-page-long equipment manual which also serves as the Game's copy protection. It also includes a map editor to create scenarios or modify parts of the game. It was followed by a sequel, ''Campaign II''. ''Big Mutha Truckers'' is a racing video game developed by British studio Eutechnyx and released in 2002. Set in fictional Hick County, the game revolves around completing trips between cities, delivering goods, and competing in races while at the helm of a semi truck.
