Emmanuel Stars FC
Emmanuel Stars is a Ghanaian professional football club, based in Tarkwa, Western Region. They are competing in the 2012–13 Poly Tank Division One League after being relegated at the end of the 2011–12 Glo Premier League season. Although the club was only founded in 2008, it has undergone two name changes. The club has previously been known as FC Medeama and Wassaman United. Club history Wassaman United was founded in 2008 as FC Medeamaa and was renamed in 2010 when the then owner Moses Armah bought the first division club Kessben FC. Wassaman United plays its home games at the TNA Park from September 2011 and for the 2011–12 season of the Glo Premier League. In July 2013, the club was renamed to Emmanuel Stars and was bought by Nigerian pastor TB Joshua. Moses Armah
Moses Armah 'Parker' is a Ghanaian businessman, football administrator and currently the owner and President of Medeama SC as well as the chairman of Mospacka Group of companies which includes Medeama FM. In July 2010, the businessman completed the takeover of Kessben FC for a reported fee of US$600,000 and renamed it Medeama SC. During the 2019 Ghana Football Association general elections Moses Armah represented Medeama SC a delegated and cast the vote on behalf of the club. Several Ghanaian media outlets reported that he was involved in a feud with former AC Milan midfielder Sulley Ali Muntari during Ghana's 2014 FIFA World Cup campaign in Brazil. Meanwhile, during a 2016 interview with Ghanaian radio station Happy FM Moses Armah said he has forgiven Muntari for the incident. Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin (born 25 March 1959) is a Ghanaian professional football manager. He is the current coach of the Ghana national U-23 team. He is a former coach Ghana Premier League teams; Asante Kotoko S.C, Accra Hearts of Oak S.C. and Aduana Stars F.C. The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is a governing body of association football, based in Accra.
