Emma Smithwick
Emma Smithwick is an Irish television producer. Smithwick worked at the BBC for six years where she was involved with several shows for the teen brand BBC Switch and moved on to write for its in-house teen soap The Cut. For the final year of BBC Switch, Smithwick was a commissioning editor. In 2011 Smithwick moved to Hollyoaks to take on the role as Series Editor and later replaced Gareth Philips as the series producer of the soap opera ''Hollyoaks''. Career Smithwick started her career as the assistant to the Producer on The Honeymooners feature film for Paramount Pictures. Smithwick then moved to the BBC in 2005 where she worked in Entertainment Events and worked on Saturday night entertainment shows including Strictly Come Dancing and How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria. The fifth series of ''Hollyoaks Later'' is a British television series and late night spin-off of Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks''. The series aired between 17 September and 21 September 2012. John-Paul McQueen
John Paul McQueen is a fictional character from the British Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks'', played by James Sutton. The character debuted on-screen during the episode airing on 6 September 2006; his storylines have significantly revolved around his sexuality, evolving from the initial denial of his homosexuality, to the pursuit and relations with best friend Craig Dean (Guy Burnet), the storyline gained a fan-base and garnered them " supercouple status". "Enjoy the Ride" is a storyline from the British soap opera ''Hollyoaks'', broadcast between 12 and 16 November 2012 on Channel 4. The storyline focuses on the double wedding of Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard) and Cindy Cunningham (Stephanie Waring) alongside Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) and Doug Carter (PJ Brennan). Jono (Dylan Llewellyn) and Ruby Button (Anna Shaffer) plan to elope to Gretna Green so Maddie Morrison (Scarlett Bowman) steals a minibus. Bart McQueen (Jonny Clarke) and Esther Bloom (Jazmine Franks) plan to stop the wedding. They momentarily distract Maddie, causing her to swerve off the road.
