Emin Khachaturian
Emin Levonovich Khachaturian (5 August 1930 – 5 August 2000) was an Armenians, Armenian conducting, conductor and composer, who was active mainly in Moscow through the 1960s and 1970s and in Yerevan in later years. For the former he was named a People's Artist of Russia, People's Artist of the Russian SFSR in 1975. Life Khachaturian was born 5 August 1930 in Yerevan, Armenia, the son of singer Lewon Khachaturian and brother of Aram Khachaturian. He died 5 August 2000. Career After graduating from the Moscow Conservatory under Alexander Gauk he started his conducting career with Moscow Region Symphony in 1957. In 1960 he was appointed lead conductor of the Orchestra of the Bolshoi Theatre, and he moved the following year to the Cinematographical State Symphony, which he led until 1979. Alexander Gauk
Alexander Vassilievich Gauk (russian: Алекса́ндр Васи́льевич Га́ук; 30 March 1963) was a Russian/Soviet conductor and composer. Biography Alexander Gauk was born in Odessa in 1893. He recalled his first experience as hearing army bands and his mother singing and accompanying herself at the piano. When he was seven he began piano studies and at 17 travelled to St Petersburg and managed to gain entrance to the class of Daugover, later moving over to Felix Blumenfeld. ''Phacelia'' (phacelia, scorpionweed, heliotrope) is a genus of about 200 species of annual or perennial herbaceous plants in the borage family, native to North and South America. California is particularly rich in species with over 90 recorded in the region. The genus is traditionally placed at family rank with the waterleafs ( Hydrophyllaceae) in the order Boraginales. The Angiosperm Phylogeny Group, recognizing that the traditional Boraginaceae and Hydrophyllaceae are paraphyletic with respect to each other, merges the latter into the former and considers the family basal in the Euasterids I clade.
