Emily Zacharias
Emily Zacharias (born March 13, 2001) is a Canadian curler from Altona, Manitoba. She currently plays second on Team Jennifer Jones. As a member of her sister Mackenzie Zacharias' team, she earned gold medals at both the 2020 Canadian Junior Curling Championships and the 2020 World Junior Curling Championships. Career Zacharias represented Manitoba at the 2016 U18 International Curling Championships where the rink won a gold medal, defeating the other undefeated team New Brunswick's Justine Comeau in the final. She also represented Manitoba the following year at the 2017 Canadian U18 Curling Championships where they finished with a 4–4 record. Zacharias won her first Manitoba junior title in 2019. They had a fifth-place finish at the 2019 Canadian Junior Curling Championships. The following year, her and her sister Mackenzie Zacharias brought on Karlee Burgess and Lauren Lenentine to the team. 2022 Players' Championship
The 2022 Players' Championship, Princess Auto Players' Championship was held April 12–17 at the Mattamy Athletic Centre in Toronto, Ontario. It was the fourth Grand Slam of Curling, Grand Slam and final major of the 2021–22 curling season, following the cancellation of the Open (curling), Meridian Open. Despite feeling ill in the final due to food poisioning, Anna Hasselborg led her team to their seventh Grand Slam title, and completed a career Grand Slam, becoming the first women's team to do so. 2021 Scotties Tournament Of Hearts
The 2021 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Canada's national women's curling championship, was held from February 19 to 28 at the Markin MacPhail Centre at Canada Olympic Park in Calgary, Alberta. The winning Kerri Einarson team represented Canada at the 2021 World Women's Curling Championship. The world championship was supposed to be held at the Curlinghalle Schaffhausen in Schaffhausen, Switzerland; however, the event was cancelled and rescheduled to the "Calgary bubble" of the Markin MacPhail Centre. The event was originally scheduled to be held in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Kim Min-ji (born August 16, 1999) is a South Korean curler. She currently plays third on the Gyeonggi Province curling team skipped by Gim Eun-ji. She is a 2018 Pacific-Asia Curling champion. Career Kim skipped the South Korean junior team at the 2016 World Junior Curling Championships. She led her team of Kim Hye-rin, Yang Tae-i, Oh Su-yun and Lee Ji-young to a bronze medal finish. After finishing the round robin with a 7–2 record, the team lost to Hungary (skipped by Dorottya Palancsa) in the 3 vs. 4 page playoff game, but went on to beat the Hungarians in a re-match in the bronze medal game, after Hungary lost in the semifinal. Justine Comeau
Justine Comeau (born July 28, 1998) is a Canadian curler from Fredericton, New Brunswick. Career Comeau has represented New Brunswick at four Canadian Junior Curling Championships with two bronze medals to her name in 2016 and 2018. She also has a very accomplished Under 18 championship record, having won silver medals in both 2016 and 2017 at the 2016 U18 International Curling Championships and the 2017 Canadian U18 Curling Championships. Still of junior age, she has participated in the past few New Brunswick Scotties Tournament of Hearts. In 2017, she lost the semifinal to the Melissa Adams rink and in 2018 she lost the tiebreaker to Sarah Mallais.
