Emily MacRae
Emily Margaret MacRae (born March 30, 1989) is a Canadian curler from Fredericton, New Brunswick. Career In 2007, MacRae represented Nova Scotia at the 2007 Canada Winter Games as lead for Katherine Hines. The team went 4–2 in the round robin, before losing in a tiebreaker to Saskatchewan 12–3. MacRae won the New Brunswick Junior Championship in 2009 as lead for Ashley Howard. At the 2009 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, the team finished with a 5–7 record. She also won the 2011 Rodd Curling Classic on the World Curling Tour. MacRae, playing lead for Shannon Tatlock, made the playoffs at provincials for the first time at the 2015 New Brunswick Scotties Tournament of Hearts where they lost in the semifinal to Melissa Adams. Mayflower Curling Club
The Mayflower Curling Club, which was founded in 1905, since 1962 has been located at 3000 Monaghan Drive in Nova Scotia's Halifax Regional Municipality in Halifax. The club is one of the premier curling rinks in Nova Scotia, being home to the teams headed by Colleen Jones, Mark Dacey, Shawn Adams, and Heather Smith-Dacey. The club was host for the curling events during the 2011 Canada Winter Games. In 1912 the club's then-premises on Agricola Street was used as a temporary morgue for the bodies of ''Titanic'' disaster victims recovered from the North Atlantic by the Halifax-based ship the ''CS Mackay-Bennett'', as it was the only site in the city that was both sufficiently large and cold enough for the task. Sandy Comeau
Sandy Comeau (born October 5, 1964) is a Canadian curler from Moncton, New Brunswick. She is a three-time New Brunswick Scotties champion. Career Comeau made her first Scotties appearance in 1993 playing second for Nancy McConnery at the 1993 Scott Tournament of Hearts. The team included Leanne Perron and Denise Cormier as well. They finished with a 2–9 record, only beating Newfoundland and Labrador and Quebec. Comeau would not return to the national championship until 2005 where she skipped her own team. New Brunswick would qualify for the tiebreaker and would upset Team Canada's Colleen Jones before losing to Ontario's Jenn Hanna in the second round. Comeau appeared at the 2006 Canada Cup of Curling where her team made the 3 vs 4 page playoff game before losing to Jennifer Jones. Shelby Wilson (curler)
Shelby Autrie Wilson (born July 14, 1937) is an American wrestler and Olympic champion. Career A native of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Wilson was a two-time Oklahoma state tournament runner-up while in high school, and was a two-time NCAA runner-up in college at Oklahoma State. At the 1960 U.S. Olympic Trials, he finished in third place. During the Olympic Training Camp he successfully challenged the trials' second and first-place finishers to gain the starting position. He won Olympic Gold in Rome, in the freestyle lightweight (67 kg) division. His Olympic gold medal was the first major tournament that Wilson had won. Jaclyn Lora Crandall (born April 4, 1989), previously known as Jaclyn Tingley, is a Canadian curler from Fredericton, New Brunswick. She currently plays third on Team Melissa Adams. Career Crandall played in her first provincial championship during the 2009–10 season as third for Ashley Howard. The team made it to the final of the 2010 New Brunswick Scotties Tournament of Hearts, where they lost to Andrea Crawford 8–5. The team won the 2010 Lady Monctonian Invitational Spiel to start the 2010–11 season. They would however not qualify at provincials that year, finishing the round robin with a 2–5 record. After the season, Tingley joined the Melissa Adams rink. Career Juniors Babin won one provincial junior title in 2009 as third for Ashley Howard.
