Emily Hsiu-Ching Chang (; born August 11, 1980) is an American journalist, executive producer, and author. Chang was the anchor and executive producer of ''Bloomberg Technology'', a daily TV show focused on global technology, and ''Studio 1.0'', where she regularly speaks to top executives, investors, and entrepreneurs. Chang is the author of '' Brotopia: Breaking Up the Boys' Club of Silicon Valley'', which alleges sexism and gender inequality in the tech industry. Early life and education Chang was born as Emily Hsiu-Ching Chang in Kailua, Honolulu County, Hawaii. Chang's mother is Sandra Galeone Chang. Chang's father was Laban Lee Bun Chang (died 2003), a lawyer and originally from Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Chang has a sister Sara. Kailua () is a census-designated place (CDP) in Honolulu County, Hawaii, United States. It lies in the Koolaupoko District of the island of Oahu on the windward coast at Kailua Bay. It is in the judicial district and the ahupua'a named Ko'olaupoko. It is northeast of Honolulu – over Nu‘uanu Pali. ''American Morning'' was an American three-hour morning television news program that aired on CNN from 2001 to 2011. 2008 South China Floods
The 2008 South China floods began on 26 May 2008. Four rounds of torrential rains with landslides and flooding lasted for 20 days and affected fifteen provinces in Eastern and Southern China. The first round of floods affected twelve provinces in South China and killed 93 people as of 30 May. A new round of floods began on 6 June and swept nine provinces in southern China killing 55 people with 7 missing and forcing 1.3 million to evacuate as of 14 June.
