Emily Burnett
Emily Burnett (born 8 August 1997) is a Welsh actress. From 2017 to 2019, she portrayed the role of Charlie Morris in the CBBC series ''The Dumping Ground'', a role for which she won the 2019 British Academy Children's Award for Performer. In 2020, she portrayed the role of Jas Salford in fellow CBBC series ''So Awkward''. In 2021, Burnett was cast in the Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks'' as Olivia Bradshaw. Early life Burnett was born in Cardiff, Wales, where she went on to study art. She has cited her father as an influence for getting into acting, recalling that he introduced her to films at a young age. Career In 2011, Burnett appeared in an episode of the CBBC series ''The Sparticle Mystery''. She made her professional stage debut in a production of ''Love is the Revolution'' at the Soho Theatre. Unicorn Theatre
The Unicorn Theatre is a children's theatre in the London Borough of Southwark, in England. It is a custom-built, RIBA Award–winning building on Tooley Street, which opened in 2005. The theatre was designed by Keith Williams, built by Arup and comprises two theatre spaces (the Weston and Clore Theatres), an education studio, rehearsal space, café and the John Lyon meeting room. The theatre was founded in 1947, by Caryl Jenner, originally as a mobile theatre; In 1961, Jenner began presenting children's productions at the Arts Theatre in the West End, and in 1967 the company took over the lease of the theatre which then became Unicorn's permanent performing base until 1999; during this period the normal run of adult performances continued during the evenings. Oxford Playhouse is a theatre designed by Edward Maufe and F.G.M. Chancellor. It is situated in Beaumont Street, Oxford, opposite the Ashmolean Museum. History The Playhouse was founded as ''The Red Barn'' at 12 Woodstock Road, North Oxford, in 1923 by J.B. Fagan. The early history of the theatre is documented by the theatre director, Norman Marshall in his 1947 book, ''The Other Theatre''.
