Emily Arlott
Emily Louise Arlott (born 23 February 1998) is an English cricketer who currently plays for Worcestershire, Central Sparks and Birmingham Phoenix. She plays primarily as a right-arm medium-fast bowler. In June 2021, Arlott received her maiden call-up to the England women's cricket team, ahead of their home series against India. Early life Arlott was born on 23 February 1998 in King's Lynn, Norfolk. She has worked as a Cricket Community Coach. Domestic career Arlott made her county debut in 2013, for Worcestershire against Durham, taking one wicket in a 30 run victory. Arlott was a regular in Worcestershire's team in subsequent seasons, and was her side's joint-leading wicket-taker in the 2015 Women's County Championship, taking 8 wickets at an average of 32.62. 2019 was a breakthrough year for Arlott, taking 19 wickets for Worcestershire across both formats after recovering from an ankle injury during the off-season. King's Lynn
King's Lynn, known until 1537 as Bishop's Lynn and colloquially as Lynn, is a port and market town in the borough of King's Lynn and West Norfolk in the county of Norfolk, England. The 2021 Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy was the second edition of the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, an English women's cricket 50-over domestic competition, which took place between 29 May and 25 September 2021. It featured eight teams playing in a round-robin group, followed by a knock-out round. The holders were the Southern Vipers, who won the inaugural competition in 2020. It ran alongside the Charlotte Edwards Cup. The tournament was named after former England captain Rachael Heyhoe Flint, Baroness Heyhoe-Flint, who died in 2017. Southern Vipers finished top of the group stage, and as a result, they qualified automatically for the final. Women's One Day International
Women's One Day International (WODI) is the limited overs form of women's cricket. Matches are scheduled for 50 overs, equivalent to the men's game. The first women's ODIs were played in 1973, as part of the first Women's World Cup which was held in England. The first ODI saw the hosts beat an International XI. The 1,000th women's ODI took place between South Africa and New Zealand on 13 October 2016. Women's Test Cricket
Women's Test cricket is the longest format of women's cricket and is the female equivalent to men's Test cricket. Matches comprise four-innings and are held over a maximum of four days between two of the leading cricketing nations.
