Emilio Correa (boxer Born 1985)
Emilio Correa Bayeux Júnior (born October 12, 1985) is a Cuban amateur boxer best known for winning the middleweight Gold medal at the 2007 Pan American Games. He is the son of Olympic champion Emilio Correa Sr. Career In 2004 he lost in the welterweight final of the World Junior Championships to Elshod Rasulov by stoppage and finished third at the national senior championships. In 2005 he moved up to middleweight and won the national championships and at the World Championships he won a bronze after losing to Russian star Matvey Korobov. In 2006 he lost the final of the national championships to veteran Yordanis Despaigne. At the PanAm Games 2007 he knocked out American Shawn Porter, outpointed Marco Periban 34:10, beat Carlos Góngora 21:13 in the semis and Argenis Nunez 22:5 in the final. Vijender Singh Beniwal (born 29 October 1985) is an Indian professional boxer and politician. As an amateur, he won a bronze medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, becoming the first Indian boxer to win an Olympic medal. He also won bronze medals at the 2009 World Championships and the 2010 Commonwealth Games, as well as silver medals at the 2006 and 2014 Commonwealth Games, all in the middleweight division. 2011 World Amateur Boxing Championships
The 2011 AIBA World Boxing Championships was held at the Heydar Aliyev Sports and Exhibition Complex in Baku, Azerbaijan from September 22 to October 10, 2011. The competition ran under the supervision of the world's governing body for amateur boxing, the AIBA, and followed on from the biggest World Championships in AIBA history which was held in Milan, Italy in 2009. James DeGale
James Frederick DeGale (born 3 February 1986) is a British former professional boxer who competed from 2009 to 2019. He held the IBF super-middleweight title twice between 2015 and 2018, and regionally the European and British super-middleweight titles between 2010 and 2012. DeGale represented Great Britain at the 2008 Olympics as an amateur, winning a gold medal in the middleweight division. He also won silver at the 2007 and 2008 EU Championships, and bronze at the 2006 Commonwealth Games.
