Emilie Hovden (born 5 April 1996) is a Norwegian handball player who currently plays for Győri ETO KC and the Norwegian national team. Eliteserien (women's Handball)
REMA 1000-ligaen is the premier women's professional handball league for Norwegian handball clubs. It is administered by the Norwegian Handball Federation, and the winners are recognized as Norwegian champions. It was established in 1968, and it is currently contested by thirteen teams. Larvik HK, which has dominated the competition in recent years, is the championship's most successful team with eighteen titles, followed by IL Vestar and Byåsen IL with nine and five respectively. The league has previously been known as eliteserien, Gildeserien, Postenligaen and GRUNDIGligaen. The European Handball Federation (EHF) is the umbrella organisation for European handball. Founded on 17 November 1991, it is made of 50 member federations and two associated federations (England and Scotland), and is headquartered in Vienna, Austria.
