Emil Pfeiffer
Emil Pfeiffer (1 March 1846 – 13 July 1921) was a German physician and pediatrician. He studied medicine at the universities of Bonn, Würzburg, and Berlin. It was at Berlin where he received his doctorate in 1869. As a pediatrician he dealt with issues of infant nutrition, campaigned for the establishment of children's homes and crèches. Wiesbaden () is a city in central western Germany and the capital of the state of Hesse. , it had 290,955 inhabitants, plus approximately 21,000 United States citizens (mostly associated with the United States Army). The Wiesbaden urban area is home to approximately 560,000 people. Wiesbaden is the second-largest city in Hesse after Frankfurt, Frankfurt am Main.
