Emil Büchner
Adolf Emil Büchner (December 7, 1826 in Osterfeld – June 9, 1908 in Erfurt) was a German conductor and bandmaster. He wrote a number of compositions, including operas, chamber music, choral works, and symphonies. Life Büchner's parents encouraged his musical interests from a young age. He attended the Leipzig Conservatory between April 1843 and Easter 1846, when he graduated. He was the ninth student to attend the newly formed conservatory, and was exempt from paying tuition. After his studies he worked as a piano teacher in Leipzig until 1856. After numerous engagements as a conductor, he was from 1865 the conductor of the Meiningen Court Orchestra in the city of Meiningen. Büchner and the court orchestra performed with Franz Liszt in 1867 in Meiningen, at the festival of the "General German Music Society". Emanuel Von Geibel
Emanuel von Geibel (17 October 18156 April 1884) was a German poet and playwright. Life Geibel was born at Lübeck, the son of a pastor. He was originally intended for his father's profession and studied at Bonn and Berlin, but his real interests lay not in theology but in classical and romance philology. In 1838 he accepted a tutorship at Athens, where he remained until 1840. In the same year he published, in conjunction with his friend Ernst Curtius, a volume of translations from Greek. His first poems were published in a volume entitled ''Zeitstimmen'' in 1841. In 1842 he entered the service of Frederick William IV, the king of Prussia, with an annual stipend of 300 thalers; under whom he produced ''König Roderich'' (1843), a tragedy, ''König Sigurds Brautfahrt'' (1846), an epic, and ''Juniuslieder'' (1848), lyrics in a more spirited and manlier style than his early poems. Carl Friedemann
Carl Bert Ulrich Friedemann (29 April 1862 – 9 April 1952) was a German-Swiss composer, conductor and musician. He wrote symphonic music, chamber music, choral works, songs and 140 marches, many of which are still played by marching bands around the world. Life and career Friedemann was born in Mücheln at Merseburg, in the modern Saxony-Anhalt state of Germany. As a child he received lessons for piano and violin. He studied music in Halle (Saale) and with the court conductor Emil Büchner in Erfurt. By 1883 he conducted the orchestra of the Reunion-Theater in Erfurt; he left this appointment in 1885. Meanwhile, he had also learned to play the clarinet. He then joined the band of the 71st (3rd Thuringian) Infantry Regiment in Erfurt and continued his musical training, also appearing as a soloist in local concerts as a violinist and pianist. Christian Johann Heinrich Heine (; born Harry Heine; 13 December 1797 – 17 February 1856) was a German poet, writer and literary critic. He is best known outside Germany for his early lyric poetry, which was set to music in the form of '' Lieder'' (art songs) by composers such as Robert Schumann and Franz Schubert. Heine's later verse and prose are distinguished by their satirical wit and irony. He is considered a member of the Young Germany movement. Julius Rodenberg (originally ''Julius Levy''; 26 June 1831, Rodenberg – 11 July 1914, Berlin) was a German Jewish poet and author. He studied law at the universities of Heidelberg, Göttingen, Berlin, and Marburg, but soon abandoned jurisprudence for literature. In 1851 his first poem, "Dornröschen", appeared in Bremen. This poem was soon followed by many others. Between 1855 and 1862 he traveled, visiting Great Britain, Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, Italy, and Switzerland. In 1859 he settled in Berlin. Rodenberg wrote the libretto to Anton Rubinstein's operas ''Feramors'' and ''Der Thurm zu Babel''. Mirza Shafi Vazeh
Mirza Shafi Vazeh ( az, Mirzə Şəfi Vazeh; ) was an Azerbaijani people, Azerbaijani poet and teacher. Under the pseudonym "Vazeh", which means "expressive, clear", he wrote in both Azerbaijani language, Azerbaijani and Persian language, Persian, developing the traditions of poetry in both languages. He compiled the first anthology of Azerbaijani literature, Azerbaijani poetry and a Tatar-Russian dictionary for the Tiflis gymnasium with Russian people, Russian teacher Ivan Grigoriev.
