Emerson High School was a state school, public secondary education in the United States, high school located in Union City, New Jersey, Union City, in Hudson County, New Jersey, Hudson County, New Jersey, United States, serving students in ninth grade, ninth through twelfth grades as part of the Union City School District (New Jersey), Union City Board of Education. The school was originally one of two high schools in Union City, along with Union Hill High School, that served the city's students. With the merger of both schools into the new Union City High School (New Jersey), Union City High School in 2008 and the opening of that school's new campus in 2009, both of the former high schools were converted to serve sixth, seventh, and eighth graders. Roosevelt Stadium
Roosevelt Stadium was a baseball stadium at Droyer's Point in Jersey City, New Jersey. It opened in April 1937 and hosted high-minor league baseball, 15 major league baseball games, plus championship boxing matches, top-name musical acts, an annual championship drum and bugle corps competition known as "The Dream" Held 1946–1983, important regional high school football and even soccer matches. Roosevelt Stadium was an American outdoor sports facility located in Union City, New Jersey. The stadium was built in 1936 and demolished in 2005 so Union City High School could be built on the site. After the school was built, its athletic complex was also named Roosevelt Stadium; the current field is located atop the school.
