Arlene D. Brosas (born October 30, 1976) is a Filipina educator, child rights activist, and politician. She is a member of the Philippine House of Representatives for the 19th Congress and was part of the 18th Congress under the Gabriela Women’s Party-list group. In Congress, she filed the anti- endo bill that sought to give workers security of tenure. She is also one of the co-authors of the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Expression (SOGIE) Equality Bill. Kian delos Santos, Carl Arnaiz and Reynaldo de Guzman were three teenagers who were killed on August 16 to 18, 2017, during the course of the Philippine drug war. On the evening of August 16, 2017, a 17-year-old Filipino student named Kian Loyd delos Santos was fatally shot by police officers conducting an anti-drug operation in Caloocan, Metro Manila. The case became controversial when the official police reports differed from witness accounts and CCTV footage.
