Emer Lucey
Emer Lucey is a Women's Irish Hockey League player. During the early 2010s she was member of the Railway Union team that won three leagues titles. In 2012–13 Lucey was also captain of the Railway Union team that won a national double, winning both the league and the Irish Senior Cup. Lucey has also played senior camogie with Ballyboden St Enda's and Dublin. GAA family Lucey's great grandfather, Séamus Gardiner, was President of the GAA from 1943 to 1946. Her father, Peter Lucey, was manager of the Dublin team that won the 2005 All-Ireland Junior Camogie Championship. Her sister, Ciara Lucey has also played senior camogie with Ballyboden St Enda's and Dublin. Terenure
Terenure (), originally called ''Roundtown'', is an affluent, middle class suburb of Dublin in Ireland. It is located in the city's D6W postcode area. Location and transport Terenure lies primarily in the administrative area of Dublin City Council but with parts falling in South Dublin. It is located south of Harold's Cross and north of Rathfarnham, and also borders the suburbs of Templeogue, Rathgar, Kimmage and Perrystown. ''Terenure Cross'' (Vaughan's Corner) was at one time a terminus for the Dublin tramways, and is mentioned in James Joyce's novel ''Ulysses'' (Episode 7, 'Aeolus'). Sandyford () is a suburb of Dublin, located in Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown, Ireland. Rachel Ruddy
Rachel Ruddy is a senior Dublin ladies' footballer. She was a member of the Dublin teams that won the All-Ireland Senior Ladies' Football Championship in 2010, 2017 and 2019. In 2017 she received her second All Star award. Ruddy has also played for the Dublin senior camogie team. Early years, family and education Ruddy is the daughter of Vivian Ruddy, a former Ballyboden Wanderers Gaelic footballer who originally came from Achill Island. Rathnure St Anne's is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Rathnure, County Wexford, Ireland. Rathnure's most famous players are the Rackards and Quigley brothers. First AGM At a meeting in Rathnure in the year 1931, Rathnure St Anne's GAA Club was founded. Founder members on that night were Pat Byrne, James O'Leary, Pat Doyle, Thomas Murphy, Nick Mernagh, Denis Brennan and Master O'Rielly. 2014 EuroHockey Club Champions Cup (women)
The 2014 EuroHockey Club Champions Cup is the 42nd edition of the premier European competition for women's field hockey clubs. It will be played in 's-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands between 18 April and 21 April 2014. There will not be a round-robin. The eight teams will be placed in the bracket starting from the quarter-finals. Winning teams will advance to the semi-finals and losing teams will play placement matches. Host team HC Den Bosch was the defending champion. Dutch teams dominated the tournament. Grace O'Flanagan
Grace O'Flanagan (born 7 April 1989) is an Ireland women's national field hockey team, Ireland women's field hockey international. She was a member of the Ireland team that played in the 2018 Women's Hockey World Cup final. In 2009 O'Flanagan also won an Irish Senior Cup (women's hockey), Irish Senior Cup final with UCD Ladies' Hockey Club, UCD and in 2012–13 won a Women's Irish Hockey League/Irish Senior Cup double with Railway Union Sports Club, Railway Union. UCD Ladies' Hockey Club is a women's field hockey club based in Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown, Ireland. It is the women's field hockey club of University College Dublin. In addition to playing in Colours matches with Dublin University and competing in intervarsity tournaments, the club also enter teams in the Women's Irish Hockey League, the Irish Senior Cup and the Irish Junior Cup.
