Embakasi West is a constituency in Nairobi. It is one of seventeen constituencies in Nairobi County. The constituency was formed prior to the 2013 elections, and has an area of . Most of the area that forms Embakasi West Constituency was part of Embakasi Constituency; though some of its areas were part of Kamukunji Constituency. Nairobi City County
Nairobi City County is one of the 47 counties of Kenya. With a population of 4,397,073 in the 2019 census, it is the third smallest yet the most populous of the counties, also serving as the capital city, capital of Kenya. The National Assembly of the Republic of Kenya is one of the two Houses of the Parliament of Kenya. Between 1966 and 2013, it served as a unicameral house. The Jubilee Party of Kenya was the ruling political party of the Republic of Kenya from 2016 until 13 September 2022. Embakasi Constituency, (formerly known as, Nairobi East Constituency), was a former electoral constituency in Kenya. It was one of eight constituencies of Nairobi Province. 2013 Kenyan General Election
General elections were held in Kenya on 4 March 2013. Voters elected the President, members of the National Assembly and newly formed Senate.
