Emanuel Pupulidy
Emanuel M. Pupulidy (October 10, 1918 – August 20, 1996) was an American race car driver of the 1950s and 1960s. He was also referred to as Emil Pupulidy, Emil Pupilidy, Emanuel Pupilidy, Pup Pupulidy or Pup Pupilidy. Life He was born on October 10, 1918. He lived in Freeport, New York. Pupulidy became interested in building and racing cars. Notably he tuned Porsche Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Car tuning is the modification of a car to optimise it for a different set of performance requirements from those it was originally designed to meet. The Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) is a non-profit American automobile club and sanctioning body supporting road racing, rallying, and autocross in the United States. Formed in 1944, it runs many programs for both amateur and professional racers.
