Elvis Tjin Asjoe
Elvis Erwin Jules Tjin Asjoe (born 9 January 1966 in Antriol) is a Dutch politician. Since 6 December 2022, he has been an island deputy for health care and culture in the Executive Board of Bonaire. After 10 October 2010, he had held this position several times. Before that, he was minister of the Netherlands Antilles in the first and second de Jongh-Elhage cabinets. Life Tjin Asjoe was born in Antriol as the youngest of four children of Elvia Nicolaas and Eugene Tjin Asjoe. His father was from Suriname and went to work in Bonaire for Schunck Kleding Industrie. After high school, Tjin Asjoe went to the MTS in Curaçao and continued his studies at the HTS in Enschede where he graduated laude. After returning to Bonaire, he worked at Bonaire Trading as head of automation. A year later, he set up his own ICT company with a partner. Mike Eman
Michiel Godfried "Mike" Eman (born September 1, 1961) is an Aruban politician who served as the 3rd Prime Minister of Aruba from 2009 to 2017. His political career began in 2001, but Eman has been involved in politics in one way or another since his childhood. His grandfather, father and brother were all prominent politicians in their lifetimes, with Henny Eman (prime minister), Henny Eman having preceded him in office (twice) as Prime Minister, including as the first to hold the office after Aruba's status aparte in 1986. Nina Den Heyer
Nina Seline den Heyer (born 1978) is a Dutch politician and a member of the Executive Council of Bonaire since 2023. She previously served on the Executive Council in 2016–2018 and 2019–2022. She won the most votes in the 2019 elections, the first woman in history to do so. Biography Nina den Heyer was born in Curaçao to a Bonairean mother and a Dutch father. She moved to the Netherlands at age 19, where she studied at Leiden University. In late 2004, den Heyer moved to Bonaire. She worked there as a policy advisor to the Executive Council of Bonaire from 2005 to 2011. In 2011 she became the head of the National Office of the Caribbean Netherlands' unit for social affairs and unemployment. Enschede
Enschede (; known as in the local Twents dialect) is a municipality and city in the eastern Netherlands in the province of Overijssel and in the Twente region. The eastern parts of the urban area reaches the border of the German city of Gronau.
