Elsie Ao Ieong
Elsie Ao Ieong is a Macanese civil servant, serving as the Secretariat for Social Affairs and Culture, Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture and Secretary of the Talents Development Committee in the Macau Government, and is currently their highest-ranking female civil servant. She previously headed the Macau Female Civil Servant Association. Early life and education Elsie Ao Ieong has lived in Macau since the 1990s. She completed an undergraduate and master's degree in engineering and computer engineering respectively, and later earned a second post-graduate degree in comparative law. Career Elsie Ao Ieong was a civil servant and headed Macau's Identification Services Bureau. She was later selected to be the Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture, replacing Alexis Tam. She is the only woman to be a part of the cabinet appointed by Ho Iat-seng, Ho Iat-Seng, the current Chief Executive of Macau. Alexis Tam
Alexis Tam Chon Weng (; born July 1962) is the Secretariat for Social Affairs and Culture (Macau), Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture of Macau, the fifth most senior government official in Macau. Early life and education Tam was born in Myanmar on July 1962. He received a bachelor's degree in business administration from National Chengchi University and a bachelor's degree in law from China University of Political Science and Law. He also earned a master's degree in international business and entrepreneurship from the University of Glasgow along with a PhD in business Administration from Nankai University. Ho Iat-seng
Ho Iat-seng (; born 12 June 1957) is a Macanese politician serving as the 3rd and current Chief Executive of Macau since December 2019. Early life Ho studied at , Macau. In 1992, he studied electronic engineering and economics at Zhejiang University in Zhejiang; he would later become a visiting fellow of the university. Political career Ho served as a member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference of Zhejiang Province from 1978 to 1998. In 2000, he was selected as the National People's Congress member representing Macau and became a member of the Standing Committee in 2001. From 2004 to 2009, he served as a member of the Executive Council of Macau.
