Ellis Cadwaladr
Ellis Cadwaladr ( fl. 1707–1740) was a Welsh poet. He grew up in Llandderfel, Merionethshire , HQ= Dolgellau , Government= Merionethshire County Council (1889-1974) , Origin= , Status= , Start= 1284 , End= , Code= MER , CodeName= .... The content of some of his poems is thought to suggest that he had a good education. It is known that he won in the chair competition at the Eisteddfod held in Bala on Whit Monday, 1738. Bala, Gwynedd
Bala ( cy, Y Bala) is a town and community in Gwynedd, Wales. Formerly an urban district, Bala lies in the historic county of Merionethshire, at the north end of Bala Lake ( cy, Llyn Tegid).
