Cyclingnews.com is a website providing cycling news and race result owned by Future. History In 1995 Australian Bill Mitchell, a keen cyclist and professor of economics at the University of Newcastle, created the website titled "Bill’s Cycling Racing Results and News" after finding there was a need for fast-breaking news and race results in English-speaking countries. In 1999 Sydney-based publishing company Knapp Communications purchased the website from Mitchell, and in July 2007 they sold it to British publisher Future plc for £2.2m. In July 2014 it was bought by Immediate Media Company, along with the print-only ''Procycling'' magazine. In February 2019, Immediate Media sold its cycling titles back to Future. New Zealand National Time Trial Championships
The New Zealand National Time Trial Championship is a road bicycle race that takes place inside the New Zealand National Cycling Championship, and decides the best cyclist in this type of race. The first edition took place in 1995. The first race winner of the road race championship was Brian Fowler. The record for the most wins in the men's championship is held by Gordon McCauley (3). The current men's champion is Regan Gough. The women's record is held by Melissa Holt with 5 wins. The 2020 Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race was a road cycling race that was held on 2 February 2020 in Geelong, Australia. It was the sixth edition of the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race and the second event of the 2020 UCI World Tour. The race was won in a two-up sprint by Dries Devenyns of the team, ahead of rider Pavel Sivakov, with 's Daryl Impey finishing third for the third year in succession.
