Elkhorn Ridge () is a rugged ridge, long, between Towle Glacier and Northwind Glacier in the Convoy Range of Victoria Land. Elkhorn Road
Elkhorn Road is a major west-east road in the Las Vegas metropolitan area, Nevada, United States. Route Elkhorn Road begins at Egan Crest Drive in the northwestern corner of Las Vegas. The road heads east to the Centennial Hills neighborhood where it forms a major intersection with Durango Drive near the RTC park and ride lot. Elkhorn Road eventually crosses U.S. Route 95 and intersects with an HOV ramp completed in 2019, serving as an entrance to US 95 south and an exit from US 95 north. The road continues west from there through residential areas and past farms and ranches before intersecting Decatur Boulevard and entering North Las Vegas city limits. The road runs through North Las Vegas and for 2 miles and passes through the Aliante community and the Aliante Casino and Hotel before ending at a dead end. Elkhorn Ranch
The Elkhorn Ranch was established by Theodore Roosevelt on the banks of the Little Missouri River 35 miles north of Medora, North Dakota in the summer of 1884. Roosevelt hired Bill SewallEdward Wiggin in his ''History of Aroostook'' (1886) tells that Wm. W. Sewall "has for years been a friend and companion of Theodore Roosevelt of New York, who formerly came to Island Falls every summer for a few weeks' outing. A few years ago Mr. Sewall went with Mr. Roosevelt to Dakota and for two years took charge of a large cattle ranch for that gentleman (p. 211). Bill Sewall was a son of Levi Sewall, one of the two first pioneers who settled Island Falls in the county of Aroostook in 1843. and Wilmot Dow, two Maine woodsmen, to run the ranch. The Elkhorn Mountains are a mountain range in southwestern Montana, part of the Rocky Mountains and are roughly 300,000 acres (1200 km²) in size. It is an inactive volcanic mountain range with the highest point being Crow Peak at , right next to Elkhorn Peak, . Lake Elkhorn
Lake Elkhorn is a reservoir located in the Owen Brown area of Columbia, Maryland. It is Columbia's third and largest lake. Its main features are a small dam and a park with a picnic pavilion and a two-mile (3 km) walking path around the lake. The path was built in 1982 and is surrounded by a park and townhouses. The lake, which was built in 1974, is named for the Elkhorn branch of the Little Patuxent River. In 1969, Spiro Agnew proclaimed the arrival of the first Columbia based scientific firm, Hittman Associates that relocated for favorable lease rates from Howard Research and Development. Hittman in turn was contracted by the EPA using Wilde Lake as an example to recommend reuse of storm water runoff from all of Columbia's reservoir systems for residential drinking water to save on development costs.
