Eljero Elia
Eljero George Rinaldo Elia (born 13 February 1987) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a winger. He turned professional at ADO Den Haag and then played for Twente before moving abroad to represent Hamburger SV, Juventus and Werder Bremen. In 2015, he came back to his home country to play for Feyenoord before moving to İstanbul Başakşehir, in 2017. Elia scored on his debut for Netherlands in September 2009 and was part of the Netherlands squad which reached the final at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. Club career Early career Born in Leidschendam-Voorburg, Elia played as a youth for local side SV Voorburg, before it merged to become Forum Sport in 1998. Leidschendam-Voorburg () is a municipality in the western Netherlands, located in the province of South Holland. It had a population of in , and covers an area of of which is water. Origin The municipality of Leidschendam-Voorburg is the result of merging the municipalities Leidschendam and Voorburg in 2002. It consists of the two towns Leidschendam and Voorburg, which grew towards each other in the first half of the 20th century. Willem II (), also known as Willem II Tilburg, is a Dutch football club based in Tilburg, Netherlands. Jeremain Marciano Lens (born 24 November 1987) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays for club Versailles. He is a versatile attacking player, known for his pace and stamina, primarily being used as a winger or a striker, but he can successfully play as a second striker. Lens began his career at AZ, and after a loan at NEC, played a part in their 2008–09 Eredivisie triumph.
