Elina Löwensohn
Elina Löwensohn (born 11 July 1966) is a Romanian-American actress. She had roles in the films ''Simple Men'' (1992), ''Schindler's List'' (1993), ''Amateur'' (1994), '' Nadja'' (1994) and '' The Wisdom of Crocodiles'' (1998). Life and career Löwensohn was born in Bucharest, Romania. After the death of her father, a Holocaust survivor, her mother emigrated to the United States with her, where her mother went on a hunger strike to get a visa for her. After finishing high school, Löwensohn studied acting in New York City and played in several successful theatre productions. She started her film career in 1991 with ''Theory of Achievement''. Diana Reiter
Diana Reiter eiterówna(November 6, 1902 – 1943) was a Polish architect of Jewish descent, one of the first female architects in Kraków. Born in Drohobycz, in 1927 she graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of Lviv Polytechnic. In the years 1928–1931 she worked in the Directorate of Public Works of the Provincial Office in Kraków with two other architects, Zdzisław Kowalski and Adam Moscheni. In the years 1930–1931 she was a technical officer, gave opinions on the designs of newly built buildings in Krynica and dealt with appeals against decisions of the Kraków construction authorities. At the request of the provincial conservator of monuments she dealt with the restoration of the royal castle in Niepołomice. Due to the economic situation, she was dismissed at the end of 1931. Silent Film
A silent film is a film with no synchronized recorded sound (or more generally, no audible dialogue). Though silent films convey narrative and emotion visually, various plot elements (such as a setting or era) or key lines of dialogue may, when necessary, be conveyed by the use of title cards. The term "silent film" is something of a misnomer, as these films were almost always accompanied by live sounds. During the silent era that existed from the mid-1890s to the late 1920s, a pianist, theater organist—or even, in large cities, a small orchestra—would often play music to accompany the films. Pianists and organists would play either from sheet music, or improvisation. Sometimes a person would even narrate the inter-title cards for the audience. Michael Otto Albert Kvium (born 15 November 1955) is a Danish artist. He has excelled in a number of fields such as painting, illustrating, sculpting and various performing arts, performance genres. Since the early 1980s, he has created grotesque realistic works, depicting the darker side of life. Biography Born in Horsens in the east of Jutland, Kvium studied painting at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts under Albert Mertz and Stig Brøgger. Annina Nosei
Annina Nosei (born 1939) is an Italian-born art dealer and gallerist. Nosei is best known for being Jean-Michel Basquiat’s first art dealer and providing him with studio space in the basement of her gallery. From 1981 to 2006, the Annina Nosei Gallery represented or exhibited work by artists such as Barbara Kruger, Robert Longo, Ghada Amer, and Shirin Neshat.
