El Ardiente Secreto
''Ardiente secreto'' is a Mexican telenovela produced by Irene Sabido for Televisa in 1978. It is based on the Charlotte Brontë's 1847 novel ''Jane Eyre''. Plot The orphan Mariana Cisneros was shut in (in a college) by an aunt who hates her, she suffers from some terrible pains, but she take advantage of the education and culture. When she turns 18 she finds a job as a governess of a silent and lonely child, Adela, who is the daughter of Eduardo. Mariana wins Adela's love and she is attracted by Eduardo. Mariana and Eduardo fall in love, but a terrible secret will take them apart. She discovers it on the day of their marriage. Mariana is desperate and she escapes, but for love she will return again. Telenovela
A telenovela is a type of a television serial drama or soap opera produced primarily in Latin America. The word combines ''tele'' (for "television") and ''novela'' (meaning "novel"). Similar drama genres around the world include '' teleserye'' (Philippines), '' téléroman'' (Canada, specifically Quebec), and ''sinetron'' (Indonesia). Commonly described using the American colloquialism Spanish soap opera, many telenovelas share some stylistic and thematic similarities to the soap opera familiar to the English-speaking world. The significant difference is their series run length; telenovelas tell one self-contained story, typically within the span of a year or less whereas soap operas tend to have intertwined storylines told during indefinite, continuing runs. Ada Carrasco (14 September 1912 – 5 April 1994) was a Mexican film and television actress. Early life Carrasco was born in Mexico City, the daughter of Honorato Carrasco, an engineer, and the opera star Ada Navarrete. Career Carrasco started her career as an actress in 1952, and went on to make over 38 soap operas, including ''Los Ricos También Lloran'', with Verónica Castro in 1979, '' Rosa Salvaje'' in 1987, ''De Frente al Sol'' in 1992, ''Más Allá del Puente'' in 1994, and finally, her last soap opera was made in 1994 in '' Marimar'' with Thalía. Lorena Velázquez (; born December 15, 1937) is a Mexican actress and former beauty pageant titleholder. Biography Born María de la Concepción Lorena Villar in Mexico City, Velázquez debuted in 1955. She competed in Miss Mexico in 1958 and placed second. Afterwards she was appointed Miss Mexico 1960, although she refused to represent Mexico in the Miss Universe pageant.
