Eivind Eckbo (10 August 1927 – 7 May 2017) was a Norwegian politician, lawyer and farmer. Progress Party (Norway)
The Progress Party ( nb, Fremskrittspartiet; nn, Framstegspartiet; se, Ovddádusbellodat), commonly abbreviated as FrP, is a right-wing political party in Norway. The FrP has traditionally self-identified as classical-liberal and as a libertarian party but is generally positioned to the right of the Conservative Party, and is considered the most right-wing party to be represented in parliament. Anders Lange
Anders Sigurd Lange (5 September 1904 – 18 October 1974) was a Norway, Norwegian political organiser, speaker and editor who led his eponymously named political party Anders Lange's Party for a Strong Reduction in Taxes, Duties and Public Intervention, Anders Lange's Party into parliament in 1973. Educated as a forestry technician, Lange got involved in politics following his stay in Argentina in the late 1920s. He joined the right-wing Fatherland League (Norway), Fatherland League organisation upon his return to Norway in 1929, and he became a popular speaker at public rallies. His provocative style however often led to controversies. Although his agitation was chiefly directed against the political left, he also rejected the efforts of the far-right. Arve Lønnum
Arve Johannes Lønnum (2 October 1911 – 18 December 1988) was a Norwegian professor of medicine and politician for the Progress Party. He was born in Egge, Nord-Trøndelag. He took the cand.med. degree in 1945 and the dr.med. degree in 1966. He was a chief physician at the Akershus University Hospital and professor in neurology at the University of Oslo. Lønnum wrote many books about health politics and subjects within military history. He became part of the environment around Anders Lange, and was one of the leaders in Anders Lange's Party, where he also was chairman from 1975 to 1978 (from 1977 the name was the Progress Party). He was a member of Oslo city council after the 1987 Norwegian local elections. Telemark
Telemark is a traditional region, a former county, and a current electoral district in southern Norway. In 2020, Telemark merged with the former county of Vestfold to form the county of Vestfold og Telemark. Telemark borders the traditional regions and former counties of Vestfold, Buskerud, Hordaland, Rogaland and Aust-Agder.
