Einar Hanseid (born 19 November 1943) is a Norwegian retired newspaper editor. Biography Hanseid was born in Sandefjord, Norway. He started as a journalist in ''Sandefjords Blad'' from 1965 to 1966 and was the subeditor of '' Bondebladet'' from 1966 to 1968. He was then hired in ''Dagbladet''. After serving as editorial chief he was hired as the news editor of ''Verdens Gang'' in 1984. He was promoted to editor-in-chief in 1987, serving until 1993. He was then the editor-in-chief of ''Aftenposten'' from 1994 to 2003, and finished his career as an adviser in Schibsted Schibsted Media Group is an international media group. Sandefjord
Sandefjord () is a city and the most populous municipality in Vestfold og Telemark county, Norway. The municipality of Sandefjord was established on 1 January 1838. The municipality of Sandar was merged into Sandefjord on 1 January 1969. On 1 January 2017, rural municipalities of Andebu and Stokke were merged into Sandefjord as part of a nationwide municipal reform. This merger was the first one to take place during the reform. Andreas Norland
Andreas Norland (9 May 1935 – 21 August 2021) was a Norwegian newspaper editor. He was known as editor of three large newspapers ''Adresseavisen'', ''Verdens Gang'' and ''Aftenposten'', and also held other positions in the Schibsted media conglomerate. Early life Norland was born in Bærum as a son of newspaper editor Realph Norland (1903–1963) and pharmacist Aasta Sigrun Sæther (1903–1968). Following miscellaneous education, he was hired in ''Tønsbergs Blad'' in 1958, where his father was editor-in-chief. In September 1959 he married journalist Sonja Hammer. In 1963 he left ''Tønsbergs Blad'' for another conservative-leaning newspaper, ''Aftenposten''. Hans Erik Matre (born 14 May 1955) is a Norwegian newspaper editor. He was born in Ski. He was a subeditor in '' Vårt Land'' from 1980 to 1983, and chief editor from 1983 to 1989.
