Edvard Eilert Christie (10 August 1773 – 14 August 1831) was a Norwegian businessperson and politician. He was a son of postmaster and merchant in Christianssund, Johann Koren Christie (1745–1823). He was a nephew of Werner Hosewinckel Christie and a brother of noted politician Wilhelm Frimann Koren Christie. Bror Oscar Eilert Ekwall (born 8 January 1877 in Vallsjö (now in Sävsjö, Jönköpings län), Sweden, died 23 November 1964 in Lund, Skåne län, Sweden), known as Eilert Ekwall, was Professor of English at Sweden's Lund University from 1909 to 1942 and was one of the outstanding scholars of the English language in the first half of the 20th century. Eilert Falch-Lund
Eilert Dietrichson Falch-Lund (27 January 1875 – 2 February 1960) was a Norwegian businessperson and sportsperson. As a yacht racer he competed in the 1908 and 1912 Summer Olympics, winning one Olympic gold medal. He was born in Kristiania. He finished Kristiania Commerce School in 1894, and worked in the offices of the companies Fr. Meyer from 1894 to 1904 and J. E. Mowinckel in Bergen from 1904 to 1905. He then stayed in England for a year. In 1914 he started his own company E. Falch-Lund in ''Tollbodgaten''. In 1908 he was part of the Norwegian ''Fram'', which finished fourth in the 8 metre class competition. Four years later he was a crew member of the Norwegian boat ''Magda IX'', which won the gold medal in the 12 metre class. He represented the clubs Royal Norwegian Yacht Club and Bergen SF. Yngve Eilert "Garvis" Määttä (22 September 1935 – 7 May 2011) was a Swedish professional ice hockey player and coach. He played for Skellefteå AIK and Södertälje SK. Eilert Stang Lund (born 15 July 1939) is a Norwegian judge. He graduated as cand.jur. from the University of Oslo in 1965 and as Master of Law from Harvard University in 1973. He then worked as a consultant in the Ministry of Justice and the Police from 1965, as an attorney and lawyer in the Office of the Attorney General of Norway from 1967, and as a private lawyer from 1975 to 1995. He is a Supreme Court Justice from 1995 to his retirement in 2009. He is a second cousin of fellow Justice Ketil Lund.
