Ehrengard
''Ehrengard'' is a 1982 Italian drama film directed by Emidio Greco. It is based on the novel with the same name written by Karen Blixen. It premiered at the 1982 Venice International Film Festival. Karen Blixen
Baroness Karen Christenze von Blixen-Finecke (born Dinesen; 17 April 1885 – 7 September 1962) was a Danish author who wrote works in Danish and English. She is also known under her pen names Isak Dinesen, used in English-speaking countries, Tania Blixen, used in German-speaking countries, Osceola, and Pierre Andrézel. Blixen is best known for ''Out of Africa'', an account of her life while living in East Africa Protectorate, Kenya, and for one of her stories, ''Babette's Feast (short story), Babette's Feast'', both of which have been adapted into Academy Awards, Academy Award–winning motion pictures. She is also noted, particularly in Denmark, for her ''Seven Gothic Tales''. Among her later stories are ''Winter’s Tales'' (1942), ''Last Tales'' (1957), ''Anecdotes of Destiny'' (1958) and ''Ehrengard'' (1963). Emidio Greco
Emidio Greco (20 October 1938 – 22 December 2012) was an Italian film director and screenwriter, best known for the 1974 film ''Morel's Invention''. Life and career Born in Leporano, in the province of Taranto, Greco moved in Turin as a child. In 1964 he graduated at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, then, two years later, he started an activity as documentarist for RAI TV. In 1971 he attended Roberto Rossellini accompanying him in Chile for a filmed interview with Salvador Allende. In 1974 Greco made his directorial debut in a feature film with ''Morel's Invention'' that, well-received from critics, marked him as a real promise in Italian art cinema. His second film, ''Ehrengard'', filmed in 1982, would be released just in 2002 due to the bankruptcy of the producers; from then he directed six more films, mainly literary works adaptations. Caterina Boratto
Caterina Boratto (15 March 1915 – 14 September 2010) was an Italian film actress. She appeared in 50 films between 1936 and 1993. Life and career Born in Turin, Boratto studied at the Musical Lyceum in her hometown with the purpose of becoming a singer; noted by Guido Brignone, she made her debut in '' To Live'', alongside Tito Schipa. Thanks to the film's success, she immediately became a star in the Telefoni Bianchi genre, and also got a seven-year contract with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer which eventually dissolved because of the World War II. In 1943, Boratto lost two brothers, the partisan Renato and the soldier Filiberto, killed in the massacre of the Acqui Division. In 1944, she married a doctor, Armando Ceratto, with whom she had two children. Alessandro Haber (born 19 January 1947) is an italian people, Italian actor, film director and singer. Haber was born in Bologna in a Italian Jews, Jewish family of mixed ancestry (his father was a Romanian Jew and his mother Italian) and spent his childhood in Israel. Audrey () is an English feminine given name. It is the Anglo-Norman form of the Anglo-Saxon name ''Æðelþryð'', composed of the elements ''æðel'' "noble" and ''þryð'' "strength". The Anglo-Norman form of the name was applied to Saint Audrey (d. 679), also known by the historical form of her name as Saint Æthelthryth.
