Egypt National Futsal Team
The Egyptian national futsal team represents Egypt during international futsal competitions. It is governed by the Egyptian Football Association and won the Africa Futsal Cup of Nations a record three times. They have also represented Africa in the FIFA Futsal World Cup, with seven appearances. History On 24 April 2016, Egypt lost the 2016 Africa Futsal Cup of Nations against Morocco after losing 3-2 in the final. 4 years later, they lost for the second consecutive time after being defeated 5-0 in the final. 2016 Africa Futsal Cup Of Nations
The 2016 Africa Futsal Cup of Nations was the 5th edition of the Africa Futsal Cup of Nations, the quadrennial international futsal championship organised by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for the men's national teams of Africa. The tournament was held in South Africa between 15–24 April 2016. A total of eight teams played in the tournament. Same as previous editions, the tournament acted as the CAF qualifiers for the FIFA Futsal World Cup (except for 2012 when a separate qualifying tournament was organized as the 2011 African Futsal Championship was cancelled). The top three teams of the tournament qualified for the 2016 FIFA Futsal World Cup in Colombia as the CAF representatives. 2022 Arab Futsal Cup
The 2022 Arab Futsal Cup hosted by the Saudi city of Dammam was the sixth edition of the Arab Futsal Cup between 20 and 28 June 2022. Ten teams took part: Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Palestine, Iraq, Kuwait, Mauritania, Egypt, Libya, Algeria and Somalia. Morocco defeated Iraq 3–0 in the final to win their second title.
