Edward L. Brown
Edward Lothrop Brown (September 7, 1805 – February 9, 1876) was a physician and political figure. He represented Horton township from 1847 to 1859 and Kings from 1863 to 1871 in the Nova Scotia House of Assembly. He was born in Horton, Nova Scotia, the son of Charles Brown and Frances Lothrop. He was educated in Pennsylvania, receiving a M.D. Doctor of Medicine (abbreviated M.D., from the Latin ''Medicinae Doctor'') is a medical degree, the meaning of which varies between different jurisdictions. Kings (provincial Electoral District)
Kings was a provincial electoral district in Nova Scotia, Canada that, at the time of its dissolution, elected two members to the Nova Scotia House of Assembly. It existed from 1867 until 1956, when Kings County was divided into the three electoral districts of Kings North, Kings South and Kings West. Wolfville is a Canadian town in the Annapolis Valley, Kings County, Nova Scotia, located about northwest of the provincial capital, Halifax. The town is home to Acadia University and Landmark East School. The town is a tourist destination due to its views of Cape Blomidon, the Bay of Fundy and Gaspereau Valley, as well as its wine industry. John Lothrop Brown (November 15, 1815 – January 13, 1887) was a farmer, merchant and political figure in Nova Scotia, Canada.
