Edvinas Šeškus
Edvinas Šeškus (born 10 March 1995) is a Lithuanian basketball player for CBet Jonava of the Lithuanian Basketball League. He mainly plays the shooting guard position. He is 196 cm (6' 5") tall and weighs 100 kg (220 lbs). Career A 13-year-old Šeškus started his career with BC Rūdupis of the NKL in 2008, scoring four points and grabbing a rebound against BC Alytus. The next season, he became the youngest player ever to debut in the strongest Lithuanian basketball league, the LKL. He recorded 2 turnovers against BC Perlas. In 2010, he played for BC Perlas-MRU and then transferred to Šarūnas Marčiulionis Basketball Academy, both times struggling to establish himself as the leader in the NKL, but dominating in the MKL league, averaging about 23 points in 30 minutes of playing time while representing the Academy in his age group. BC Perlas Energija, is a professional basketball club based in Vilnius, Lithuania, currently competing in the Nacionalinė krepšinio lyga. BC Perlas is a daughter club of the Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius. Perlas club was founded in 2003. Over the decade the team had many variations of its name, but it always had the word "Perlas" (Pearl) in it except during 2012-2013 season, when it was called "Vilnius-MRU". Virginijus Šeškus (born February 8, 1967) is a Lithuanian basketball coach. He is currently head coach of CBet Jonava of the LKL. Career Virginijus Šeškus was born in Prienai, Lithuania. He trained children in Prienai sports school. Later, he became the head coach of BC Prienai of the secondary basketball league NKL, winning the NKL championship in 2009. Despite significant roster changes, he led his team to two BBL silver medals, two LKL bronze medals and two LKF Cup gold medals over a span of five years. Due to his achievements, Lithuanian basketball giant BC Lietuvos rytas hired him as the head coach in 2014. Due to inconsistent performance and inefficient rotations, he was terminated in February 2015 and later became the assistant coach of the team.
