Kennedy on March 13, 1961, aimed to establish economic cooperation between the U.S. and Latin America. Peruvians ( es, peruanos) are the citizens of Peru. There were Andean and coastal ancient civilizations like Caral, which inhabited what is now Peruvian territory for several millennia before the Spanish conquest in the 16th century; Peruvian population decreased from an estimated 5–9 million in the 1520s to around 600,000 in 1620 mainly because of infectious diseases carried by the Spanish. Spaniards and Africans arrived in large numbers in 1532 under colonial rule, mixing widely with each other and with Native Peruvians. Congress Of Peru
The Congress of the Republic of Peru ( es, Congreso de la República) is the unicameral body that assumes legislative power in Peru. Congress' composition is established by Chapter I of Title IV of the Constitution of Peru. Congress is composed of representatives who sit in congressional districts allocated to each region, as well as two special districts, Lima Province and Peruvian citizens living abroad, on a basis of population as measured by the Peruvian Census in multi-member districts. The number of voting representatives is fixed by the Constitution at 130. Pursuant to the 2017 Census, the largest delegation is that of Lima Province, with 36 representatives. The National University of Cajamarca ( es, Universidad Nacional de Cajamarca), or UNC for short, is a major public university located in Cajamarca, Peru; capital of the department of Cajamarca Region, Cajamarca. César Zumaeta
César Alejandro Zumaeta Flores (born 12 December 1955) is a Peruvian politician and a former Congressman representing Lima for the 2006–2011 term. He has been serving Congress since 1995. He was the President of the Congress of the Republic of Peru from 2010 to 2011. Zumaeta belongs to the Peruvian Aprista Party.He lost his seat in the 2011 general election when he ran for re-election, but he received only a minority of votes and has since retired from politics. He was previously a Deputy, representing the Loreto region from 1985 until 1992, when President Alberto Fujimori shut Congress down in a self-coup. Union for Peru ( es, Unión por el Perú) was a Peruvian political party founded by Javier Pérez de Cuéllar, an ex- UN Secretary General, in 1994 to run for the Presidency of Peru in the 1995 general elections.
