Eduard Sacapaño
Eduard Ortalla Sacapaño (born 14 February 1980) is a Filipino former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He was the goalkeeping coach of Philippines Football League club United City, before joining the Azkals Development Academy. Early years Sacapaño was born in Bago. He started playing football at the age of 13. Sacapaño later joined the West Negros College varsity football team, where he took the role of a goalkeeper. He then joined the Philippine Army and became part of its team that saw action in the United Football League. Career In March 2013, to boost Global FC's preparation for the 2013 AFC President's Cup, Sacapaño was sent to the club on loan. He became part of the Philippine national football team in 2006. The 2012 AFC Challenge Cup was the fourth edition of the tournament, an international football competition for Asian Football Confederation (AFC) member nations that are mainly categorized as "emerging countries" in the defunct Vision Asia programme. It took place in Nepal from 8–19 March 2012. Unlike in previous editions of the tournament, there were no automatic qualifiers. Therefore, 2010 champions North Korea, runners-up Turkmenistan, and third-placed Tajikistan had to navigate the qualification phase in order to return to the finals. The AFC Challenge Cup was an international football competition for Asian Football Confederation (AFC) member countries that was categorized as "emerging countries" in the "Vision Asia" programme. "Vision Asia", created by former AFC president, Mohammed Bin Hammam, is the AFC's plan for a continent wide programme to raise the standards of Asian football at all levels. The AFC Challenge Cup, which reflected the philosophy of Vision Asia, was created for teams to experience playing in a continental competition with the possibility to win an AFC trophy and to potentially discover new talent. The 2013 Philippine Peace Cup was the second edition of the tournament, an international football competition organized by the Philippine Football Federation (PFF) to celebrate peace month in the country through football. This edition involved the national teams of the Philippines and only two invitees instead of three. It was held in Bacolod, Negros Occidental from October 11–15, 2013. 2012 Philippine Peace Cup
The 2012 Philippine Peace Cup was the inaugural edition of the tournament, four-nation international football competition organized by the Philippine Football Federation (PFF). It was originally slated for October 12–16 but the PFF moved it to September 25–29 to give way to the participation of local side Loyola Meralco Sparks in the 2012 Singapore Cup. ABS-CBN covered the games on Studio 23. The tournament was due to be the third annual Long Teng Cup, however, the organizers, the Chinese Taipei Football Association (CTFA), withdrew from staging the 2012 edition and requested the PFF to host it.
