Edoardo Bosio
Edoardo Bosio (; 9 November 1864 – 31 July 1927) was an Italians, Italian footballing innovator from Turin who played as a Forward (association football), forward. He is a prime figure in the history of Italian football as evidence exists to show that he founded the earliest football club in the country; Torino Football and Cricket Club. He was also a clever rower of the Armida Rowing Club in Turin. The 1898 Italian Football Championship was a major event in the footballing history of Italy. It was the first FIGC-endorsed league competition which is considered an official predecessor of Serie A. A hat-trick or hat trick is the achievement of a generally positive feat three times in a match, or another achievement based on the number three. Origin The term first appeared in 1858 in cricket, to describe H. H. Stephenson taking three wickets with three consecutive deliveries. Fans held a collection for Stephenson, and presented him with a hat bought with the proceeds. The term was used in print for the first time in 1865 in the ''Chelmsford Chronicle''.
