Edmondson Park railway station is a station on the South West Rail Link which serves the south-western Sydney suburb of Edmondson Park. It opened on 8 February 2015. It is part of the Sydney Trains network. History Edmondson Park has one island platform with two faces. Initial services consisted of a half-hourly shuttle between Leppington and Liverpool. From 13 December 2015, trains operate directly to the city via Granville. Edmondson Park is a suburb in the South West of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Edmondson Park is located 32 kilometres from the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of the City of Liverpool. Edmondson Park is part of the South West Growth Centre and is expected to see significant growth and development over the next 10 years. Ingleburn Railway Station
Ingleburn railway station is located on the Main South line, serving the Sydney suburb of Ingleburn. It is served by Sydney Trains T8 Airport & South line services. History Ingleburn station opened on 19 August 1883. An additional track was opened to the west of the station in 1995 as part of the Glenfield - Ingleburn passing loop. This unelectrified track was used by freight and long-distance passenger trains. In December 2012, the track was incorporated into the Southern Sydney Freight Line and became freight only. In April 2014, a major upgrade commenced. This will include lifts being installed at the south end of the station and a new structure on Platform 1. It was scheduled to be completed in 2016. Since the second half of 2017, Ingleburn railway station has been served exclusively by the Airport and East Hills line, meaning commuters have to change at Glenfield to travel to either the city via Granville or to Blacktown via the Cumberland Line. Cumberland Line
The Cumberland Line (numbered T5, coloured magenta) is a commuter rail line operated by Sydney Trains in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It connects Schofields and Leppington stations in the western suburbs. Limited services extend from Schofields to Richmond. The line opened in 1996, following the construction of a 'Y-link' track between Harris Park and Merrylands stations.
